Privacy
What we collect, and what we don't.
Short version: your measurements never leave your device, we don't run ads or trackers, and we don't sell anything about you to anyone.
What never leaves your device
If you enter your measurements to highlight your size in a table, they're stored in your own browser and are never sent to us. We don't receive them, we can't see them, and there's nothing on our side to delete.
Concretely: they live in your browser's local storage under a single key,pd:your-measurements, on your device only. They are never put in a web address, a cookie, a form field, or a request to us or to anyone else. The fit finder compares them against whatever size chart you type in, entirely inside your browser — no size chart data is sent to us, because none of it ever leaves the page.
You can delete them at any time with the "clear my measurements" control that sits next to the feature, which removes that key outright. Clearing your browser's site data also removes them.
This is how the fit finder is built today, not a promise for later. We run an automated check that traps every way a browser can make a network request, walks the whole tool, and fails if anything tries to leave the device.
Email, only if you ask for it
There's no sign-up form on the site yet. We haven't chosen a list provider, and we won't collect addresses before we have one that meets the rules below. What follows is how it will work when it exists, not a description of something running today.
If you sign up for the annual report, we'll store the address you give us and use it to send you that report. We don't send anything else, we don't share the list, and we don't sell it. Every email has a working unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time by getting in touch.
The sign-up form submits your address in the body of the request rather than in the web address, so it doesn't end up in browser history, server logs, or a link you might share by accident.
What we don't do
- No advertising, and no advertising networks.
- No sponsored content and no affiliate links.
- We don't sell, rent, or trade data about you.
- No third-party trackers, embeds, or social widgets. We don't currently run analytics of any kind. If that changes, this page changes first and will say exactly what we use and what it records.
- No fonts, scripts, or images loaded from someone else's server — the page you're reading comes entirely from us.
What our host sees
Like any website, ours is served by a hosting provider that processes ordinary request information — such as an IP address — in order to deliver the page and protect against abuse. We don't combine that with anything else or use it to build a profile of you.
If you're under eighteen
A lot of our readers are. That's the reason for most of the choices above: no account, no measurements on our servers, and no name or email attached to a fit report. Nothing on this site requires you to identify yourself.
Questions
If something here isn't clear, or you want your email address removed, contact us. If this page ever stops describing what actually happens, that's a bug and we want to hear about it.
